Privacy Policy
Effective date: TBD
Introduction
We at Majico ("Majico", "we", or "us") are committed to respecting your privacy and protecting the information you share with us. This privacy policy ("Privacy Policy") explains how we collect, use, disclose, and process your personal data when you use Majico's software, platform, APIs, documentation, and related tools, including our website at https://www.majico.xyz and all associated software and services we make available to help you build, deploy, host, and manage software projects (collectively, the "Service"). It also describes how you can exercise your data protection rights under applicable law.
By accessing or using the Service, you acknowledge that you have been informed of, and consent to, our practices with respect to your personal information and data.
Please note that this Privacy Policy does not apply where Majico acts as a data processor and processes personal data on behalf of our commercial customers using our enterprise or team offerings (for example, if your employer has provisioned a Majico account for you to use at work). In those cases, our use of that data is governed by the customer agreement between Majico and your organization.
1. Personal data we collect
We collect the categories of personal data described below.
A. Personal data you provide directly
We collect personal data when you create an account, interact with the Service, or otherwise communicate with us. This may include:
- Account information
We collect identifiers such as your name, email address, username, and any other information you provide when you sign up for a Majico account or subscribe to updates about the Service. - Payment information
If you choose to purchase paid products or features, we collect payment-related information (such as billing details and limited payment card information). Payment processing is typically handled by our third-party payment processors, who process your information in accordance with their own privacy policies. - Inputs and outputs
The Service may allow you to submit content, code, prompts, or other data ("Inputs"), which generate responses from our models and tools ("Outputs"). If you include personal data or references to external content in your Inputs, we will receive and process that information, and it may be reproduced in the Outputs you receive. - Communication information
When you contact us (for example, via email, support forms, or in-product messaging), we collect your name, contact details, and the contents of your message or correspondence. - Feedback
You may provide feedback on the Service, including ideas for improvements, ratings of Outputs, or other comments ("Feedback"). We may store and associate the relevant interaction, Inputs, and Outputs with your account as part of that Feedback.
B. Personal data we collect automatically when you use the Service
When you use the Service, we automatically receive certain technical and usage information, including:
- Device information
Information about the device and software you use to access the Service, such as device type, operating system, browser type and version, language preferences, mobile network or ISP, and related technical data. The specific details may vary depending on your device and settings. - Log information
Log data about how the Service is accessed and used, including IP address, browser type and settings, timestamps, referring/exit pages, error logs, performance data, and other diagnostic information. - Usage data
Information about your interactions with the Service, such as pages viewed, features used, search queries, click data, and other behavioral and analytics information related to how you use the Service. - Cookies and similar technologies
We and our service providers use cookies, pixels, scripts, and similar technologies to operate, secure, and improve the Service; to remember your preferences; and to understand how you use Majico. For additional information, please see our Cookie Policy at https://www.majico.xyz/cookie-policy. - Location information
We may infer an approximate geographic location from your IP address or similar data for security, fraud prevention, abuse detection, or to provide relevant content and functionality (for example, detecting unusual login activity).
C. Information we do not knowingly collect
Majico does not knowingly collect sensitive or "special category" personal data (such as genetic or biometric data for the purpose of uniquely identifying a person, health information, or religious beliefs), and we do not knowingly collect information from or direct the Service to children under the age of 18. If we become aware that a user is under 18, we will investigate and, where appropriate, delete the personal data and/or the associated account.

Use of Inputs and Outputs for training
By default, Majico does not use your Inputs or Outputs to train our models or allow third parties to train models on your Inputs or Outputs, unless one of the following applies:
- The content is flagged or reviewed for security, abuse, or policy enforcement purposes (in which case we may use it to improve our ability to detect and prevent misuse of the Service);
- You explicitly submit the content to us as Feedback or through another channel where you agree to its use for improvement or research; or
- You have explicitly opted in or otherwise provided consent for your data to be used for training or similar purposes.
Where the Service provides controls to manage your training preferences, you may adjust those settings within your account or as otherwise described in the Service.
Aggregated and de-identified data
We may aggregate or de-identify personal data so that it can no longer reasonably be used to identify you. We may use and disclose such aggregated or de-identified information for purposes such as analyzing usage trends, improving and developing the Service, or conducting research, and we will not attempt to reidentify it except as permitted or required by law.
3. How we share personal data
We may disclose personal data in the circumstances described below:
- Service providers and business partners
We share personal data with third-party vendors and service providers that help us operate, maintain, and improve the Service. These third parties process personal data only on our instructions and in accordance with applicable law and contractual safeguards. - Business transfers
In connection with a potential or completed merger, acquisition, financing, restructuring, bankruptcy, or other corporate transaction, personal data may be disclosed to prospective or actual counterparties, advisors, or other relevant parties as part of due diligence or transferred as part of the transaction, subject to appropriate confidentiality protections. - Legal compliance and protection of rights
We may disclose personal data to government authorities, law enforcement, regulators, or other third parties when we believe disclosure is necessary or appropriate to: (i) comply with applicable laws, regulations, legal processes, or lawful requests; (ii) protect the safety, rights, or property of any person; (iii) detect, prevent, or investigate fraud, security incidents, or other illegal or harmful activity; (iv) enforce our Terms of Service or other legal agreements; or (v) protect Majico against legal claims or liability. - Affiliates
We may share personal data with our corporate affiliates (entities under common ownership or control with Majico). These affiliates will use the information in a manner consistent with this Privacy Policy. - Third-party services and integrations
The Service may integrate with or link to third-party websites, applications, or services. If you choose to use such integrations or follow those links, your personal data may be disclosed directly to such third parties and will be subject to their own terms and privacy policies, not this Privacy Policy. - Business account administrators
If you register or are provisioned with an account using an email domain associated with an organization (such as your employer or school), we may share certain account-related information (for example, your email address, role, or account status) with that organization. For team or enterprise accounts, organization administrators may access and manage your use of the Service in accordance with their policies. - Other users and parties with whom you choose to share information
Some Service features may allow you to share Inputs, Outputs, projects, or other content with other users or third-party applications. Any information you choose to share in this way will be available to those recipients and governed by their policies and practices. - With your consent
We may disclose personal data for other purposes when you direct us to do so or with your explicit consent. - Subprocessors for enterprise customers
Where Majico acts as a data processor for commercial or enterprise customers, we maintain a list of subprocessors that support those services. For more details, please contact us at julian.m.kleber@gmail.com.
4. Data retention
We retain personal data for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Service, fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, and satisfy our legal, accounting, or reporting obligations. Retention periods may vary depending on the type of data, the nature of our relationship with you, and applicable legal requirements.
We may also retain some information for a limited period for security, fraud prevention, abuse detection, troubleshooting, or auditing, even after you have closed your account or otherwise stopped using the Service.
When personal data is no longer needed for the purposes for which it was collected, we will take steps to delete, anonymize, or de-identify it in accordance with applicable law and our internal policies.
5. Security
We use commercially reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect personal data from loss, misuse, and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. These measures may include encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, monitoring, and regular security reviews.
However, no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure. You should use caution when deciding what information to submit through the Service. We are not responsible for any circumvention of privacy settings or security measures on the Service or on third-party websites or services linked from the Service.
6. Your rights and choices
Depending on your jurisdiction and applicable law, you may have certain rights in relation to your personal data. These may include:
- Right to know and access
You may have the right to request confirmation of whether we process your personal data, and to access a copy of the personal data we hold about you, including details about how we use and share it. - Right to deletion

While we will make reasonable efforts to address such requests, please note that due to the nature of our technology, we cannot guarantee the accuracy of any model-generated Outputs. - Right to data portability
In some cases, you may have the right to request a copy of your personal data in a portable, machine-readable format, and to request that we transmit that data to another controller where technically feasible. - Right to object or restrict processing
You may have the right to object to certain types of processing (such as direct marketing) or to request that we restrict our processing in certain circumstances (for example, while we verify the accuracy of information you contend is inaccurate). - Right to withdraw consent
Where our processing is based on your consent, you have the right to withdraw that consent at any time. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out prior to withdrawal. - Right to lodge a complaint
You may have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority or regulatory body if you believe our processing of your personal data violates applicable law.
Majico does not make decisions based solely on automated processing that have legal or similarly significant effects on you (for example, decisions relating to access to essential services).
Majico does not "sell" or "share" personal data for cross-context behavioral advertising, and we do not process personal data for "targeted advertising" or similar purposes as those terms may be defined under certain U.S. state privacy laws. We also do not process sensitive personal data for the purpose of inferring characteristics about individuals.
To exercise any of your rights, you or your authorized agent may contact us at julian.m.kleber@gmail.com. We may take reasonable steps to verify your identity before responding to your request. If we deny your request, you may have the right to appeal by contacting us at the same email address.
International data transfers
Majico may process and store your personal data on servers located in the United States and other countries. Data protection laws vary by jurisdiction, and some countries may have different or less protective laws than those where you reside. Where required, we implement appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses or other lawful transfer mechanisms) to protect personal data when it is transferred internationally.
7. Jurisdiction-specific disclosures
Depending on where you live (for example, in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, California, or other U.S. states with specific privacy laws), additional rights, disclosures, or legal bases may apply to our processing of your personal data.
Where required, we rely on one or more of the following legal bases to process your personal data:
- The processing is necessary to provide the Service and perform our contract with you;
- The processing is necessary to comply with legal obligations;

- You have provided consent to the processing for specific purposes.
If you would like more information about jurisdiction-specific rights or how these legal bases apply in your region, please contact us at julian.m.kleber@gmail.com.
